News: ClickUp buys Calendar App
Hypercal is the latest calendar app to be killed off, acquired by ClickUp. ClickUp now aims to turn calendar into a core part of their offering turning the Hypercal founder into the now “Head of Calendar” according to TechCrunch.
Hypercal now begins ClickUp’s Notion chase-up.
New App of the Week: AFFiNE Pro
One of my radars is AFFiNE Pro. Imagine Craft Docs & Miro having a baby. That’s AFFiNE and as an open-source, Notion alternative it could be an interesting offering in 2024 - and one that we’ll be reviewing very soon.

Evernote’s now got a clean-new look. Cutting some of the noise of the old design, combined with a brand-new website & new feel. Evernote’s team mentioned on Twitter too about the calendar gaining some upgrades soon as one of the key upgrades for Evernote.
